Morris Knowles & Associates, Incorporated (MKA) was contracted by St. Clair Township in Westmoreland County to provide engineering design and construction period services on three roadway widening and surfacing projects within the Township. The 2004 project involved the widening, stabilization, culvert replacement, and surfacing of one mile of the 1½-mile long Shrum Hill Road. The 2005 project involved the widening, stabilization, culvert replacement, and surfacing of the remaining ½ mile of Shrum Hill Road. The 2007 project involved the widening and surfacing of seven streets in the Township adjacent to Seward Borough. These projects were funded through separate CBDG grants from the Westmoreland County Department of Planning and Development.
MKA provided surveying and engineering design for the three roadway widening and surfacing projects. MKA also prepared the technical specifications and contract drawings for these projects. MKA served as contact between the Township and Westmoreland County and provide bidding and construction period services.
